Zach is a strong and explosive snapper. His ability to concentrate has been demonstrated at multiple Kohl's snapping camps. His focus and overall ability to perform under pressure is outstanding. He consistently snaps footballs at the hip level height to his punter. Zach's snap times are typically in the low .7's to high .6's at a distance of 15 yards. Zach's ability to keep his snapping rotation tight helps him snap a clean catchable ball into the wind. The speed and tightness of his snaps also do not allow the wind to move the ball much on the way back to the punter. Zach has good feet and is solid in protection. His upper body strength allows him to maintain good separation between himself and a defender. Zach is also very capable of making plays in coverage. His work ethic and dedication to snapping has made him one of the top high school snappers in the 2011 class.
