Evaluation: Hawkins blends great athleticism, physicality and instincts in the secondary; a DB consistently around the ball making plays. He is a high-impact hitter who looks to separate the ball from the receiver. Very versatile defender in coverage; he soundly tracks the deep throw and closes with great burst in underneath zone schemes. Strong tackler and his good range, ball skills and toughness could make strong safety a possibility with continued physical development.
