Hardy is a disruptive force on the defensive line with excellent get-off. He is regularly one of the first people off the ball and is able to get a jump on a blocker and cause penetration. He does a good job of crowding the ball in his stance and exploding. He can be physical at the point of attack, and while his strength is getting penetration, he can hold his ground. He has a good motor and runs well for a big guy. Hardy should compete for reps on the defensive line as a freshman at Mississippi State.
