TAYLOR BIBLE

Bible disrupts offensive backfields. He is a good looking defensive tackle prospect not only in his play, but also in his build. He has good size for the position and carries his weight well. He should have no problem adding more good bulk as he physically matures. He displays good quickness off the ball despite having a tendency to line up off the ball. He can get some quick penetration and is good at attacking half-a-man and quickly getting into the gap. Does a good job of being able to get skinny, slip past blockers and split double teams. He has a nice club move and can cross a blocker's face. He is also tough at the point of attack and he can play high at times, but for the most part he can strike a defender, separate, generate power from his lower body and hold his ground. Has a good motor for a big man and can be a factor on the perimeter in pursuit. Displays good instincts to locate the ball. Tends to attack ball-carriers and quarterbacks a little high, but generally a solid tackler and can make the play around the ball. Things seem to come easy for him at times because of his ability and as a result he can get a little sloppy in his technique. He will hop out of his stance, not shoot his hands and give a blocker his chest. He can get away with it at the high school level, but will need to be a bit more consistent in the little things to have the same rate of success at the college level. A productive, but pretty straight-ahead pass-rusher. Will work the bull rush and can get a push. Will use his violent club move to try and jump by blockers. Overall, Bible is a good defensive tackle with the ability to make believers out of blockers. He has the tools to be a handful and make plays from the defensive tackle position.
