Dodge is a coach's kid and it shows - has all the intangible traits you look for in a college quarterback prospect. He is tough, competitive and is a good enough athlete to play another position at the next level besides quarterback. As a passer, he reminds us of current Texas quarterback Colt McCoy, only Dodge is overall more athletic and a better runner. He takes charge, makes very good decisions with the ball and is well groomed. Had BCS scholarship offers as an athlete but will be taking his signal calling skills to Northern Texas to play for his dad.
