Hunter is a tough player in the trenches. He has good size and is a powerful package in the thick frame. He has a good get-off and can be explosive. He does a good job of getting into a blocker by generating power from the hips and knocking them backwards. He is very tough at the point of attack and is tough to move off the line of scrimmage.  He displays the ability to get the most out of his power. Hunter is a disruptive force and a perfect fit for Notre Dame's defensive scheme at nose guard.
