Smith has an FBS leg. He hit multiple kickoffs of 80-plus yards with strong wind at a Kohl's camp in Texas. He has a great high school film and he has multiple 50-plus yard field goals in games. He also finished second at Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in punting. Smith gets good hang time on his punts and will be a dual-threat at the college level. He is very powerful and sits back well on punts, which allows him to get big hang times. Smith should get a lot of fair catches in Colorado this season. His body frame is that of a small linebacker at 6-foot-0, 205 pounds, but Smith is a very coordinated and smooth field goal kicker. The ball jumps off his foot and has good trajectory. Smith may be the best combo kicker/punter in this class
