Holmes is a physical lineman that delivers a good initial pop. He gets good hand placement and displays the ability to get into a defender, roll his hips and get a push. In one-on-one base blocking situations he does a good job of getting position and generating some movement. Homes moves well and looks comfortable when asked to pull down the line of scrimmage. He is also a good pass-blocker who can mirror the speed rush. Homes possesses the physical tools to protect the quarterback and open run lanes for the talented stable of backs at the University of Southern California.
