Edwards is the kind of player who can cause problems for an offense with his active play. He is a big guy who can disrupt an offense's ability to execute. While he is massive, what makes him so dangerous is his ability to explode out of his stance. When he gets moving forward, he is able to create immediate penetration into the backfield. He generates so much power and is so big that he is regularly able to drive a blocker, or in some instances more then one blocker. Edwards should develop into a disruptive college defensive lineman.
