This prospect has the size, athleticism, playing strength and speed to be a dominant player at the major level of competition early in his career. Also plays tight end displaying good quickness and explosive blocking ability. Shows excellent flexibility, quickness and balance; does a great job getting the early read on run plays to and away. Is a very good downhill player vs. the inside run, showing the upper body strength to take on and defeat blockers; can avoid and beat blockers with quickness; is capable of working through and over traffic with great pursuit habits. This guy has a great limp leg technique which allows him to step over bodies in pursuit of the football. His unique quality is the possibility of lining him up at a variety of positions; as an outside linebacker we see the ability to take on and defeat blockers at the line of scrimmage; can shed with excellent backside closing quickness. Plays very effectively with his hand in the dirt; can read and react, is quick off blocks while showing the toughness and playing strength to hold the point of attack regardless of his size. Because of his talent this player could be aligned in a variety if defensive sets when game planning.
