Evaluation: Some of the better upside in this 2009 defensive class and is a real playmaker. He excels at safety with his long, rangy body and good speed covering and roaming as a high-point player. He could easily develop into an outside linebacker with his great frame for continued physical development and competitiveness on the football field. He shows great ball skills and instincts covering his deep zone and is just as impressive breaking quickly on underneath routes with great burst. Good open-field tackler and is just very flexible with good agility for his size. Bell should excel on special teams as well in college.
