Bowers is a tremendous athlete who actually is an effective running back at his size. On defense he has the ability to get off on the snap and quickly get penetration. He has the tools to be a disruptive presence in one-gap scheme. His natural skills coupled with his motor make him a tough player to deal with. He runs well for a big man and pursues to the ball from sideline to sideline. He has a good closing burst and can be a factor on the perimeter as run stopper and pass rusher. We expect Bowers to make an early impact at Clemson.
