Cunnigham is a tough, physial defensive lineman who can battle in the trenches. He has a good stance and a nice get-off. He displays the ability to be explosive off ball. He can play with good pad level, shoot his hands and generate power from his hips when he makes contact with a blocker. He is a physical kid at the point of attack and will really take on anything that gets in his way. He is also tough versus a double team and flashes strength and ability to defeat it. Cunnigham should have a very prductive career at Colorado on the defensive line.
