Upshaw is a football player - he can make some things happen between the white lines. He plays with good football instincts and he has a feel for getting to the ball. He has good quickness out of his stance and if you are crazy enough to not block him he can quickly get in the backfield and close on the ball. Upshaw has excellent lateral movement and is able to squeeze down, stay square as he works down the line and make plays inside. His ability to redirect allows him to consistentl ytake a tight path to the ball but still recover if a play bounces outside. We feel Upshaw will be a playmaker during his career at Alabama.
