Lindsay is an excellent offensive guard. He has more than adequate size and is able to play with good pad level without getting too high. Good overall agility for a lineman along with upper-body strength and powerful hips. Carries his weight extremely well and has little problem reacting to moving defenders. Exceptional when on the move and in space. A ferocious puller and trapper; comes out of his stance with proper footwork and fundamentals. Does a great job of snapping his hips on contact when trapping along with giving a solid punch with the hands. Turns upfield smoothly and with athleticism when pulling and leading on to level two and three defenders. Very instinctive when on the move and can adjust his course if necessary to pick up even more mobile athletes. Gets good movement at the point of attack in the run game and uses his hands as weapons. Locks hands into the frame of the defender and often drives defenders into the turf. Pass protection is sound and is able to stop initial charge of pass-rusher with jarring first punch. Displays the ability to keep himself between the rusher and quarterback by mirroring defender and sustaining relationship. Strength and size helps in stopping a power-rusher as well as his proper use of hands and arms. Should have little trouble at the next level as a pass protector from the guard position. Lindsay is a very special offensive lineman in space due to his athleticism and instincts. As long as he keeps working on his agility and quickness, he could excel as an offensive guard.
