Feldt is an exceptional run blocking offensive tackle that could also be a guard at the next level. He is a stout and thick offensive lineman with good height. Comes off the ball with authority. Strikes a real blow into the defensive lineman and usually dominates the opponent. Plays with excellent power angles throughout the block and gets great movement off the line of scrimmage. Uses his hands well and packs a real punch. Running backs would love to run behind this guy in short yardage situations; he keeps his pads down and does a fantastic job of snapping his hips on contact knocking the defensive lineman back. Displays very solid footwork and rarely takes too big or false first step. Legs continually move allowing him to keep pressure into the defender. As good as he is at base and drive blocking, he is just as good on the move and when combo blocking. Smooth and under control when pulling and trapping; turns upfield without loss of balance and regularly picks up level two defenders. Snaps hips on the trap often de-cleating the opponent. Gives great effort downfield to pick up an extra block. Very fundamentally sound when double teaming and chipping off; gets good initial movement and slips off to next level defender with perfect positioning and pad level. Exceptional reach and zone blocker that displays proper footwork and pad control on the edge or climbing to the next level. Very solid pass protector and uses his hands to stalemate the charge of the pass rusher. Likes to jump the defender quickly; needs to set back at times and have a little patience waiting for the rusher. Must be careful to not over-extend. Feldt has the potential to be a very special collegiate lineman due to his toughness, fundamentals, mobility and super effort finishing plays. He is a no-brainer talent wise.
