Cave is a fine center prospect who displays a quick and clean snap and also looks comfortable handling shotgun duty. He snaps with either two hands on the ball or most likely with his off hand on the ground. He is a physical player and displays the ability to snap and quickly get into a defender. Cave looks comfortable when he is covered and can deliver a good initial pop. Cave works well in double team situations and should step in at Notre Dame and challenge for early playing time with his experience at the position.
